Researchers at the University of Sunshine Coast are exploring prescription opioid use, stigma and experiences of individuals living with endometriosis. They intend to add to the limited previous research on endometriosis and pain management, with the hope of further exploring prescription opioids as a pain management technique, while accounting for stigma experienced with opioids.

Who can participate?

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are aged 18 years or older,

  • Are female at birth, 

  • Reside in Australia, 

  • Have a surgical diagnosis of endometriosis, and

  • Have/had experience using prescription opioids within the last 12 months as part of your pain management plan.

What does the research involve?

Participants will be asked to complete an online anonymous survey (approximately 20 minutes).
