Featuring the Period ImPact and Pain Assessment (PIPPA Tool)

Many young people are unsure if their symptoms are normal period pain or if their symptoms need further investigation or treatment. The PIPPA Tool is a validated survey for people with undiagnosed pelvic pain so they can determine if their symptoms warrant making an appointment with a health professional.

The first step of our EndoZone Health Report is to complete an electronic version of the PIPPA tool with your patient. Go to EndoZone Health Report

Helping patients prepare for their appointment

Many people with endometriosis and pelvic pain reported feeling uncomfortable talking about periods and their pain with doctors. Some didn’t realise the types of questions they would be asked. Many said they left the consultation and realised that they forgot to mention the main reason they wanted help.

The EndoZone Health Report has been designed for patients to fill in before they meet their doctor to:
  • Set their expectations of the consultation
  • Give them time to think about the symptoms they have
  • Ensure the focus is on issues they are worried about
  • Save time for doctors

It is designed to be the starting point for a medical consultation to help you and your patients. It is not an end point, nor will it replace appropriate medical care.

It can be printed, emailed or even filled in electronically in the waiting room.
