Researchers from Victoria University aim to explore how Australian women with endometriosis engage with resistance training, how they perceive it, and what impact it may have on their symptoms to help guide better support and exercise recommendations. This study invites participants to take part in an online survey exploring resistance training practices, perceptions, and impacts and asks participants to share their experiences through a short 12–15-minute online questionnaire.

Who can participate?
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
- an Australian citizen or permanent resident,
- proficient in English,
- at least 18 years old, and
- have a clinical diagnosis of endometriosis via laparoscopic surgery, MRI, or ultrasound imaging.
What does the research involve?
You will be asked to answer questions regarding your physical activity and resistance training. Resistance training is a type of exercise that involves using some form of resistance, such as weights, bands, or your body weight, to improve muscle strength, size, and endurance.
You will also be asked about your experiences with resistance training in the context of endometriosis, including any benefits or challenges you may have encountered, and some general demographic questions to help understand more about the characteristics of Australians living with endometriosis.
How do I get involved?
Participants will be required to complete an online questionnaire (approximately 12-15 minutes), accessible via the link provided below. Participants will need access to an internet-enabled device to complete the survey.
