The aim of this study is to examine the effects of exercise dose on markers of symptom severity in regional, rural and remote women living with endometriosis. Researchers are investigating exactly how much exercise per week is effective at reducing symptoms, improving biomarkers and quality of life in women with endometriosis.

Who can participate?
You may be eligible to participate if you:
Have a confirmed diagnosis of endometriosis (imaging or surgery),
Live in regional, rural or remote Australia, and
Are over the age of 18 years.
You may not be eligible to participate if you are:
Pregnant,
Breastfeeding,
Undergoing fertility treatment,
Have had a pelvic surgery, or an intrauterine device inserted or removed, in the last six months before beginning the study, and /or
Currently perform more than 60 minutes of exercise per week.
What does the research involve?
An initial telehealth consultation and screening with an accredited exercise physiologist.
A short online survey (≈ 15 minutes).
Use of an activity monitor and a simple dried blood spot test (kits posted to you).
A 12-week program that may include short yoga sessions and/or walking (depending on your group).
Weekly symptom check-ins.
A final telehealth session (and optional follow-up interview).
